| I'm beginning to lose track of which photo is following which previous post, but what we'd need to ID this would be a picture of a single specimen from above, below, and the side, and sliced in half. Then any comments about size, aroma, habitat, discolouration, texture, firmness, milk (if applicable), etc. (some of which you've already provided). It could be one of any number of species, unfortunately from this and the other pics uploaded so far it's impossible to tell with any degree of certainty. |

Fun guessing though, isn't it!? :-D
This one might end up unidentifiable because we don't have the base of the stem.
I think there's something wrong with the website which stops some people from uploading multiple pictures in the same thread. |

| Absolutely! Just had a stab at the possible Boletus under the 'beech tree near Kedleston in Derbyshire', unusual find unless I'm mistaken. |
