Keep This Site Live

As many of my loyal site followers and fellow fungi enthusiasts will know, this site has been running for many years now and has been one of the (if not the) main sources for people passionate about wild mushrooms to learn from each other.

I am sad to say that spiralling hosting costs, reducing advertising revenues (I receive a few pennies each month from the Google adverts on the site and book sales) and costs of maintaining the website has left me with ever increasing losses. I have run it for years on a non-profit basis and always taken a small loss but those small losses are becoming bigger, to the tune of a £1000+ per year.

I am still as passionate as ever about wild mushrooms and more importantly for me, helping people connect with other people and share advice.

So, it has come to the point where I am reaching out to you to ask if you would consider making a small donation to help run the site. No matter how small a donation, it all adds up so if you can; I will be ever grateful and so will the other site users.

I am unsure if I should publish a list of names of people who donate as some folks will want to retain privacy. If you would like to be named on this site as a contributing supporter, please email me at nigel.frith@gmail.com and let me know what name you donated under and that you are happy to have your name on the site.

If you do donate and do not email me, I shall assume you want to remain anonymous and not name you.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

If you do want to donate, please use the button below, you do not need a PayPal account to donate - it will accept most cards.
