Thank you, farewell and welcome

To all my site users, I want to say a huge thanks for using my site over the years and if you are new, I hope you find it as inspirational as I and many others have on learning about foraging and mycology.

I have sold the site to a new owner who I am pleased to say is a foraging fanatic and intends to keep up the great work on making WMO a great place to learn about wild mushrooms and other foraging topics.

The site has had many contributors over the years and I will not name them all here but the stand-out person is Geoff Dann who, without his regular posts, teachings and comments; the site woiuld not be what it is today so Geoff, a very big thank you.

I can only urge all foraging fans to book Geoff for a day, he really is a mine on information and a great guy to boot. It's a day well spent.

Meantime, it just leaves me to say Farewell and also Welcome to Chris as the new owner and wish him all the best.

Nigel Frith

This rather splendid speciman popped up in the back garden yesterday. It is about 6" across and has a light white line around it about 1" for the edge.
What is IT?
